Up for grabs is this exceptionally rare ES-335 in the limited run “Solid Gold” finish. This guitar is every bit as cool as it looks, the Classic 57 humbuckers are some of Gibson’s best – perfect for huge leads, chunky rhythm tones and everything in between. The neck is the old school 60’s Slimtaper profile, so it’s very fast and comfortable, action is nice and low too. The semi-hollow body is just icing on the cake, the guitar resonates exceptionally well, it’s a blast to play unplugged even.
This one appears to have been barely played and is in fantastic condition with extremely minor signs of wear. Color finished 335’s tend to have some finish checks around the neck joint, but this one looks pretty good. There’s a very tiny finish check on either side, but they can only really be seen up close in direct light. There’s a couple small blemishes on the sides of the headstock from a guitar hangar and one very small nick on the top of the headstock. Aside from those, just some very faint pickguard scratches.
It’s all original with no mods, breaks or repairs. Factory Gibson case and paperwork are included as well.
