2010 Guild F-50 Jumbo Acoustic Guitar Blonde, Near-Mint w/ Case & Tags, USA New Hartford

$ 2599.99

Up for sale, a 2010 Guild F-50 Standard, near-mint and complete with the original hardshell case and hangtags. Produced at the New Hartford, CT factory, this finely crafted (and discontinued) Guild jumbo features a solid Sitka spruce top with red spruce bracing, heavily figured maple sides, and an arched maple back, finished in Blonde gloss nitro lacquer.

This F-50 Standard measures 17″ wide across the lower bout, offering bold projection with plenty of muscle, excellent string-to-string definition and snappy note attack. The low end has a broad, relaxed quality, and the overarching sound has the detail and rubbery treble cut of maple, tempered by a top that’s had the opportunity to open up and offer a smooth, woody character. This F-50 Standard weighs 4lbs 12oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and easy-playing action.

The carved and compensated bone saddle is relatively low, yet offers action that’s well within spec in all registers. Cosmetic wear on the gloss Blonde nitro lacquer finish is limited to one minor ding on top at the treble side lower bout and sparingly little additional wear on the back/sides. The smooth satin finish on the neck profile shows no wear, and a strap button has been added to the treble side of the neck heel.

The original black tolex hardshell case is included, along with all hangtags.
