Washburn P4 DLX -Deluxe 1997 – Cherry Sunburst

For sale is a 1997 Washburn P-4 Deluxe in pretty decent shape (fist year of production – (Ser.No. 9712139).

All original with the locking keys, Buzz tuning system and original Custom Shop case In great shape) with pick guard, tags and key for lock.

Normal player wear but maintained very well. Scratch on the back of the neck just in the finish. Doesn’t affect playability.

I’ve had it for years and spent most of its time in the case. I love it but it’s time to thin things out a bit. Deserves someone to love it.

Washburn’s P-series were a fine instrument, especially the P4 Deluxe. The guitar was introduced in early 1997 and ended on 1998, featuring a mahogany body with a flamed maple top that was so beautiful that you would literally drool down your chin.

The guitar also featured Washburn’s (exclusive) sound chambers, which made the guitar extremely lightweight and resonant. The P4 came from the factory with Seymour Duncan classic ’59 and custom humbuckers installed, the tone was absolutely to die for.

Also included in the P4 Deluxe was Schaller locking tuners and a fine-tuning tailpiece, which was designed to give you full control over tuning with the added benefit of a graphite nut. The instrument was available in a variety of burst colors, including Wineburst, Cherry Sunburst (THIS ONE), Blueburst, Honeyburst, Coffeeburst and Tobaccoburst. This is a beautiful Washburn Custom Shop P4. It’s in excellent condition and sounds fantastic. As a gently-used instrument you can expect to find a small amount of pick swirl, a few fingerprints, and a bit of dust here and there, but this guitar is extremely clean and was very well taken care of. There might some cosmetic blemish on(quite frankly I found none) besides the back of the neck that I can’t figure out where or how get there. Remember it is an USED 27 years old guitar. PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES…AS I WILL ACCEPT NO RETURNS (unless the guitar is damaged in transit).
