This is a very RARE guitar. These guitars were made for a very short time using 500 year old wood (see description at bottom). What makes this guitar even rarer is the fact that it came from the factory with a tremolo installed. I believe all the NX6TMs came with a hard tail bridge.
The NX6 was the replacement guitar Washburn designed when Nuno Bettencourt left the company for 3 years, It’s basically an N4 with a tone pot and a normal headstock (not reverse like the N4) It came stock with volume and tone pots that are “push/pull” to split the neck and bridge pickups.
The serial number indicates that this guitar was made in 2004. It is VERY clean for being close to 20 years old. I believe in disclosing all that I can so there are no “surprises”, so here it goes.
Frets look like new (see pics) and the fret ends were filled in with ebony from the factory so they won’t pop out in dryer climates. The neck is straight as an arrow and the Truss rod was checked and is working perfectly. There is some very light ware on the face from playing (very hard to see and even harder to photograph), and a light scratch on the back upper horn (see pics). This guitar is in MINT condition.
The guitar is ALL original and looks like new. The electronics work perfectly. It has 2 push/pull pots for neck and bridge pick-up coil split. It comes with the tremolo bar, Truss rod /Tremolo wrenches, Warranty card, Certificate of authenticity, and a Deluxe TKL hard shell case that shows some signs of wear, scratches and scuffs etc. but structurally the case is rock solid, like new.
The NX6TM with tremolo is one of the most valuable and sought after Washburn guitars ever made.
You will not want to put this guitar down.
This guitar has sustain, resonance, and vibe that is unsurpassed.

From a magazine advertisement for this guitar:
Imagine owning a vintage ’59 electric. Now imagine having a 500 year-old version. The ergonomic body design crafted from 500 year old Timeless Tone wood recovered from the depths of Lake Superior gives the NX6TM an unsurpassed warmth and resonance. The Steven’s extended cutaway allows for unparalleled neck access on a beautifully appointed maple fingerboard. Washburn teamed up with Seymour Duncan to develop a split circuit pickup control system. With the tone and volume controls depressed, the definitive hum bucking tone is achieved. Lift the volume control to split the neck pickup, lift the tone control to split the bridge pickup and achieve the classic single coil tone. The NX6TM is available on a limited basis and in hard tail only.
