Here’s a beautiful 1983 Rickenbacker 360/12WB guitar. This is a rare “B” series re-issue. The “B” was the first re-issue model with only around 100-200 produced in total. It was Rickenbacker’s 1st attempt to make a Beatles reissue model guitar. These were later replaced by the V64’s and the C63s. It features the original toaster pick ups.
The Fireglo finish for that year, 82-83, was very different than any other year, even today. It is more orange-amber-brown in tint, unlike the normal Rickenbacker Fireglo which is more reddish. This gorgeous Fireglo is only found on models made from 82′-83′. It also features a bound fingerboard with the iconic shark fin inlays and its double white pickguards & truss rod cover complete its beauty. Its’ serial # is WE indicating that it was made in May 1983. The guitar plays beautifully and is exceptionally clean & all original. It also comes with its original black Rickenbacker hard shell case. This guitar would be an excellent choice for a Beatle fan or anyone who wants the closest thing to a George Harrison’s early 1960s Rick without having to pay $50,000 to $65,000 for a correct vintage one.
