This is an absolutely beautiful and rare Peavey Milestone that is a fantastic player. This guitar has been freshly run through and has a clean bill of health.
The neck on this guitar is fantastic, action is low and fast, no fret buzz and the frets still have a ton of life. The electronics work as expected and the pots have been cleaned out with De-oxit. This guitar sounds fantastic, one volume, 2 tones, a 3 way switch, and what I suspect is a phase switch make this a particularly flexible guitar tonally.
Cosmetically this guitar has its fair share of small finish checks and dings and some odd finish blemishes on the back that add an interesting texture to the finish as if it had been resprayed at some point. I suspect this may have been a practice body from the Peavey factory as I’ve heard that from that era those kinds of things were fairly common. Despite the cosmetic flaws this sunburst is absolutely stunning.
