Quick notes:
1 — This instrument is consigned.
2 — It’s all done up and it’s ready to go unless otherwise noted!
3 — I usually ship in 2-3 days but sometimes can get backed-up if a lot of orders come in at once. I like to make sure I have time to check the setup, restring if the strings are tired, and make any adjustments needed before shipping. If you need faster shipping, please make me aware!
4 — Please read the following text for full details and specs — it’s borrowed from my original blog post on it…
Overview: Hey, it’s a guitar! I mean, Peavey Generations can be spotted all over the place and many were first guitars for folks. This one has a Tele-like profile but has a pickup configuration and layout more familiar to SuperStrat players — an HSS mix with a 5-way switch — so you get an aggressive, humbucker/driving bridge sound and all of the nice, chimey, even, Strat-sounding stuff at the neck and middle.
Tone: It’s Stratty at the neck and middle (clean, bright, even) and has some strong mids and bite at the bridge. It’s got a Fender-style long scale so notes snap a bit more than on a Gibson-style guitar.
Feel: It’s got a slim, fast neck with a shallower fretboard radius — a pretty typical modern guitar feel.
Interesting features: It appears to be all-original except for the two knobs which are cool, vintage, stereo knobs. I can put something more tame on there if you like (black Strat knobs?), but the last owner left them like this.
Repairs included: Gurion, I think, gave it a restring and a good setup and adjustments. It’s playing spot-on and is ready to serve.
