SG1820 series developed as SG that will be a guideline for the new era of solid guitars.

It was developed based on numerous advice collected directly from artists by the London, Los Angeles, and Tokyo offices of Yamaha Artist Relations Department. It is equipped with custom shop parts that artists wanted for their guitars, and the design is finished with a simpler appearance.

Handmade set neck structure using advanced Japanese woodworking technology, body and neck made of African mahogany, and arched maple on the body top. The new SG, which features these features, satisfies the needs of modern musicians and has a completely new, uncompromising specification. The professional and stadium-spec guitars that Yamaha had previously produced for artists are finally within the reach of ordinary players.
