Rare Fender Prodigy with Maple Fretboard 1991 – 1993 – Black

$ 1300.00

This belonged to my father who passed away in February of 2021.

He was a lifelong jazz guitarist primarily, and has traveled the country and have played amongst the greats.

He had many guitars, but this was his primary instrument.

It’s hard to part ways with this, as it’s my last physical attachment to him.

I used to wake up in the morning on any given day and he would be practicing for hours per day in the den.

He taught me and my siblings true musical appreciation, and we grew up listening to the greats, from George Benson to Pat Matheny, Pat Martino, Lee Ritenour, Stanley Turrentine, and crossed into other genres with artists like Steely Dan, Grateful Dead and so many more.

I can honestly say that my dad has opened my ears to many genres, and I took it further with even more genres.

I want someone who is interested in treasuring this guitar and to utilize it in ways that I can’t.

This will include the Roland GK-3 synthesizer pickup attached by Velcro. It may or may not need a pedal. Im not sure.

The guitar comes with an extra set up strings and I will include a Gibson soft case as well.

It will come clean and ready to play.

There is an imperfection at the top of the head shown in pic, and there is a barely visible blemish on the back of the neck also shown in pic.

The guitar overall is in excellent condition and is also considered rare, being from the Prodigy line Made in U.S.A.

If you have any questions, let me know. God bless.
