– Momose” – a guitar brand with over 35 years of history

The brand is named after Yasuo Momose, the senior master builder of Asuka Factory in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture.

All guitars are handmade by a small group of elite craftsmen.

Each guitar is meticulously looked after, and all incoming guitars are of high quality.

The neck is easy to play with a natural grip, the appearance is beautiful and carefully crafted, and the wood vibrates without wasting any energy to produce a variety of expressive sounds.

We are proud to recommend this brand among the many Japanese guitar brands.

– The “Modern Series” incorporates the modern specs that are in demand today.

The “Original” series is a new design that improves the playability and sound of the guitars.

The main features of the “Original Series” are

Magnum lock pegs for tuning stability.

Streamlined string guide design.

Rod adjustment holes for easy neck adjustment.

Wavy Momose head is one of the few examples of an original shape that has been beautifully realized.

The wood binding neck is designed to prevent fret burrs and to keep the appearance unchanged.

The pickguard design has an edge that gives the impression of an evolved guitar design.

Original “VT-1” pickups are mounted for excellent separation and a beautiful sound with a strong bell tone.

Contour processing, recessed joint plate, and wide cutaway ensure playability up to the high frets.

– The “MT2” is now in stock and has overcome the weak points of the Tele while retaining 100% of its original flavor! -The “MT2” is in stock!

The “MT2” has a firm, solid Tele-like “wood sound”.

However, the weak points of the Tele have been completely overcome.

First of all, let’s talk about the contouring of the body back.

Historically, the Tele had an angular body back that required improvement, and when the Stratocaster was released, the body back was contoured.

History has its weight, and even today, many Tele models do not have contours on the body back.

Here is a form of Tele that is not bound by the past. As a result, it is the most comfortable to hold.

Next, let’s look at the pickups. Both the front and rear pickups are excellent, but the front PU in particular has a strong appeal.

In a word, Tele’s front pickups are “ineffective”. It feels weak and muffled, making it unusable.

The “VT-1” mounted on this model does not make you feel this weakness at all.

While maintaining the slightly sweet front end character, it picks up the full range of the delicious bandwidth with a moderate output.

The high frequency range is not caged, and a comfortable degree of relaxation is superb. If you are looking for a Tele, you should definitely give this a try.

As for the rear, it has a mellow texture to the extent that you do not feel too much of the Tele’s rear habit, but the graininess of each note is never sacrificed. In particular, the way nuance comes out when strong picking is performed is superb. Once you experience this response, you may change your criteria for selecting an instrument. I don’t want to talk too much about cost performance, but you won’t find any other brand that offers this playing feel at this price.

This is a model that I highly recommend. Please consider this model.
