Needless to say, if this doesn’t sell, I am happy to keep it. Condition is pretty much 10/10 as it has been cared for very well, never gigged – never left the house really.
I would only trade this for something of equal value (some plus/minus can be accommodated for the right item).
I am the first and only owner of this guitar. I ordered this via Better Music in 2019 and from memory it took about 5-6 months to build; it was built to spec.
The spec sheet will tell you everything you need to know. The only change that I made was replacing the Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Specials with a set of Seymour Duncan EVH ‘zebra’ pickups. The Saturday Night Specials have since been sold.
The photos I have used for this ad are the same photos that Knaggs took of this Kenai before sending it to Australia, as well as my own photos – so what you see is what you get.In fact, Peter Wolf, provided some progress photos which took place during the finishing phase. It’s a Knaggs Kenai Tier 1 #858 (Knaggs’ best), Sunflower with crème binding, Ebony fretboard, Morningstar inlays, gold hardware, gloss finish and weighs 7.8lbs (3.54kg). Signed by both Joe Knaggs and Peter on the rear of the headstock. Feels like a Les Paul/PRS but more Les Paul.
Do I need to or want to sell it, no not really. I am happy to sell it outright or trade for something of equal’ish value.
