The guitars of the Japanese brand King Snake are made in the Terada factory where Gretsch and Tokai instruments are also built. In Japan, the snake is known as a messenger of Benzai Ten, the goddess of music. This and the unique sound of hollowbody guitars and the myths surrounding blues and country players who kept snakeskin in their guitars for a better sound, were the inspiration for their name.
This is their Curtis model, a full hollowbody with two humbucker pickups. It has a classic look with its Tobacco Sunburst finish and slightly deeper body than the standard Curtis model. It also looks and feels like a real vintage guitar because the finish is done without buffing. This is also beneficial for the sound and makes it fuller and more direct.
With a few minimal traces of use, it is still in near mint condition. Includes a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
