Greco 1973 EG550R Cherry Sunburst [11/27]

$ 768.09

Made in 1973, Greco’s EG550R is now in stock! This model is from the period called “Gneco” because the “r” in the head logo looks like an “n”.
The specs are LP Custom type with birch body, maple neck, and ebony fingerboard from the catalog of the time.
The appearance is normal LP type, but the internal structure is chambered, and it is characterized by its full airy feeling.
Japan Vintage is popular both in Japan and overseas. The sound is very unique, with a combination of construction and woods that are not used in the current general LP type.

Neck condition is fine as it is. The truss rod is adjustable in both directions and can be tightened approximately 180°. Overall, there are signs of use commensurate with the age of the instrument. Metal parts are rusted and dull. The frets are generally quite low, but there are no playing problems. There are gouges on the second fret of the fingerboard. The wood is generally dotted with dents and scratches. The pickup selector toggle switch knob is missing. Replacement parts cannot be used as it is not a normal threading.
