Gibson SG Special Faded 2011 Worn Cherry

$ 707.60

  From the “Faded” series comes the SG Special, a stripped-down version of the SG Standard with a light satin finish that should appeal to those who want an affordable SG and like a more spartan appearance. Featuring a mahogany neck that is a little wider and more substantial than your average slim-taper, a mahogany body with a large pick guard specification and a 490R and 498T humbucking pickup configuration handling the output.

The guitar has a loud acoustic voice and plenty of resonance, no doubt helped by the increased girth of the neck, and plugged in the guitar delivers the familiar powerful and cutting SG tone that has made it such a mainstay in the Gibson line up.

There are minor scratches and a touch of dulling to the hardware evident, some dark blemishing at the the lower around the strap pin, but there is no conspicuous reduction to the frets and the condition overall is very presentable with a straight neck, no breaks or repairs and all electronics functioning as they should.

*A genuine Gibson soft case is included.
