Gibson Custom Shop ES-335 Left-Handed 2011

$ 3104.51

Gibson Custom Shop ES-335 Lefty used has arrived. Made in 2011 at the Memphis factory. As you can see, it is a left-handed model. It’s almost the same as the regular model, but until 2013, when Gibson Memphis was established, ES-335s made at the Memphis factory were produced under the name “Custom Shop.” The ES-335, now synonymous with semi-hollow guitars.

The model that arrived this time is a 60’s spec 335 with a thinner narrow neck and a short pickguard similar to the current model. The semi-hollow structure with a center block in the middle of the body and hollow sides is a unique feature that balances acoustic and solid sensations, offering a distinctive sound.

Constructed with laminated maple for the body and mahogany for the neck, which are the classic wood materials for ES-335s. Equipped with 57 Classic pickups, it covers a wide range of tones from nuanced sounds to heavily distorted overdrive tones. It produces exquisite tones in both crunch and clean settings.

Surprisingly, the ES-335 was introduced relatively late in 1958, after the release of the Les Paul. It’s said to be a fusion of Gibson’s full-hollow and Les Paul’s strengths. The 335 is a guitar that combines the warm sound of a full-hollow with the sustain and resistance to feedback of a Les Paul, offering a wide range of tones. Musicians across various genres, from jazz to rock, love and use the 335.

The Custom Shop models made in Memphis are indeed excellent. This is a guitar that makes us regret the absence of the Memphis factory.

Condition: Professionally cleaned and set up with new strings (D’Addario).

No problem with the electric systems. Neck is straight and the truss rod works with no issues. Frets remain over 80 percent.
