Superb figured maple and rough freckles with a pitch-black rosewood fingerboard and an amazing 3.66kg! A highly recommended collector’s release!
The lacquer paint has faded with age and there are a few scratches from playing, but far more than that, this is a superb piece for Les Paul lovers!
The red color of the aniline near the neck has faded and turned to natural color, which is a characteristic of Les Pauls made by Custom Shop, so it has a nice vintage-like atmosphere.
There is a paint peel near the end of the back of the body. Please check the photo.
There are some scratches around the screws on the pickguard. There is a shallow crack on the surface. Please check the photo.
The frets are very thin and there is only about 80% fret wear left.
The neck is in very good condition, and the truss rod has room in both directions.
The previous owner searched and searched for many years to find this super high quality, super lightweight instrument!

This 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS features a newly designed Gibson logo on the head, Les Paul Model silkscreen, age-toned fingerboard dish inlays, unpotted Custom Bucker pickups, CTS pots with vintage curves, Luxe Bumble Bee condensers, and more. Bumble Bee condenser, etc., inheriting the specifications of the much talked about 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard released in 2019.
