The Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster Lace Sensor is a Stratocaster based on Eric Clapton’s iconic Blackie, aka Blackie, which was his main guitar until his retirement.
It has an alder body, soft V-shape maple 1P neck, 3 gold Lace Sensor PUs, Vol/TBX control and 25db mid-boost.
The TBX controller and mid-boost circuitry give this model a stable tone with the flexibility to handle both lead and chord work, making it a favorite of many players, even among fans, and a model that can also be used for professional use.
The PU rubber has been replaced with a silicone tube, the pickguard, back panel, and mounting screws have been replaced, and the overall appearance of the instrument has some signs of use (blurred logo, color fading, dents around the perimeter of the body, scratches and scuffs, darkening around the fingerboard and back of the neck due to playing, darkening of the fingerboard, peeling of the fingerboard paint, lifted paint at the position mark, picking marks, metal parts and screws, fogging, and scratches). There are some exterior damages such as fogging, bits, rust, etc. on the parts and screws.
The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) upon arrival, and the originally low fret board is high enough to play well. The truss rod can be tightened or loosened up to ±60°.
