Fender 1965 Jaguar – Aged Inca Silver Custom – Matching Headstock
This instrument is built around its 1965 genuine Fender Jaguar 24″ neck with factory binding that had a full re-fret, looks and feels excellent with its dark rosewood fretboard. The body is bespoke, mahogany. The brushed aluminum pickguard holds two Lollar p90 pickups. The full rhythm circuit remains, the lower mute controls have been replaced with a Johnny Marr style 3-way switch. The controls use vintage radio style knobs that give the instrument a great vintage look. The bridge is an AVRI unit that uses Mustang style barrel saddles, the tremolo is a Fender Panorama unit. All wiring is braided or vintage cloth wrapped. All the feel and mojo of something vintage, but with modern parts surround to make something new, fantastic, beautiful. Resembles an alien weapon, some artifact from a more interesting dimension.
Setup on 10’s, weighs a chunky 9lb and 3oz, comes in a Johnny Marr hard case, looks good in there.
Condition is 9/10, high end parts and top shelf work.
Condition
Very clean, frets are fresh and bright, aged nitro shows checking, it will age and change as the years roll on, vintage style wiring everywhere. Aging gracefully now, looking and sounding excellent.
