Miracle in stock!

Hand painted Stratocaster by street graphic artist “John Crash Matos”, famous for his use of Eric Clapton, is now in stock!

The Crashcaster, as it is commonly known, is a guitar that Eric Clapton originally commissioned three paintings of because he was a fan of his, and was later officially released by Fender as a limited edition of 50 guitars to Crash.

The guitar in this shipment is even more special, as Modern Guitar Magazine mentions that it is the first of the 50 guitars to be made.

The artwork by Crash is so unique that it is more than a guitar, it is a work of art!

The guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity, but there is no mention of the guitar itself, as far as we can tell,

The guitar has a V-shape, 9.5” radius, vintage size 21-fret neck, and passive pickups with noiseless pickups.

The front controls are independent, while the center and rear controls are shared.

The rear tone pot is a click type.

The neck has not been removed to protect the paint, but the guitar is currently tuned in regular tuning.

The condition of the guitar seems to be that it has not been played and stored for a long time.

The accessories are generally in good condition. It comes with a separate back panel signed by Todd.

Also included is a copy of Modern Guitar’s article on the Crash Stratocaster.
