Furthermore, the Fender American Performer Timber Stratocaster comes in a matching Fender Deluxe Hardshell Case.

Sassafras body with satin mocha finish

Unlike the regular models in the American Performer series, the body of the Fender American Performer Timber Stratocaster RW Mocha is made from sassafras. The wood of the sassafras tree is not only characterized by its contrasting grain, but also offers a solid basis for resonant sounds with a clearly recognizable swamp ash note from a tonal perspective. Last but not least, the satin finish of the body provides a particularly smooth armrest for unrestricted playability.

Yosemite Stratocaster single coils

For sound conversion, the Fender American Performer Timber Stratocaster has three Yosemite single coils in Strat design. The single coils known from the instruments of the American Performer series are particularly popular among Strat fans due to their special mix of Alnico 4 and Alnico 2 magnets and produce a particularly expressive tone. The push/pull function of the second tone control additionally expands the tonal spectrum by switching the neck pickup in parallel in switching positions 1 and 2.
