A really unique and collectors guitar here. Most likely I will regret selling it, so grab a deal until I changed my mind 😉
Not mint but what would you expect from a 40 years old guitar? Natural very light relic and a lot of mojo, frets are in great condition as well.
Unlike many LP Standards of this time period, she has a non-sandwich one piece mahogany body and only two-piece (not three as usual) maple cap. Three-piece maple neck and a dark rosewood fingerboard.
In addition, this particular guitar features a ‘Nihon‘ sticker on the back of the headstock which means it was produced specifically for the Japanese export and for early 80’s it means a much better quality control in comparison to the general Norlin-era Gibsons.
All original: original Tim Shaw pickups stamped with 1981 date, original Gibson tuners, original pickguard, original paperwork and original Gibson case (in excellent condition for the age: some rust observed on the metalic parts but all latches and the lock work perfectly).
US buyers: no custom duties on top of the listed price following the “US Goods Returned” regulation.
Other countries: I can try to give an advice but won’t take any
liability. Paying the custom duties is the responsibility of the buyer.
