Benedetto Guitars is a boutique builder which hand makes only about one hundred (100) guitars per year. (Fender and Gibson, by comparison, each build over 150,000).
Founded in 1968 by American luthier Robert Benedetto, this internationally renowned company builds some of the world’s most collectable instruments, all in their factory in Savannah, GA. Their guitars have been played by four generations of jazz masters and have been featured on countless recordings & TV/film soundtracks, in books & magazines, in museums (including the permanent collection at The Smithsonian) and on concert stages around the world.
According to the company, the Bravo ‘Deluxe’ is an immaculately dressed ‘Professional Series’ instrument that has been upgraded with a deluxe binding package on the body, neck, headstock and sound holes. This stunning Robert Benedetto-signed 2020 year-model example wears their “Honey Blonde” finish and is in “mint”, as-new condition. A “Gibson Original ’57 Classic” humbucking pickup has been installed however the sale also includes the guitar’s original Benedetto “B-6” pickup. The guitar comes with its original Benedetto-branded hardshell case, also in mint condition.
The price for a new Bravo Deluxe is $7,250 and, according to Benedetto Guitars, the current ‘lead time’ to obtain one is 10 to 12 months.
Okay, to be fair, nothing is “flawless” however this guitar is about as close as they come
