$ 4199.99

Up for sale, a 2011 Fender Custom Shop Dick Dale Stratocaster in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original G&G hardshell case, CoA, and all hangtags. This Custom Shop artist signature model is well-matched to the legacy of a player who’s quest for massive clean tones, sheer sonic power, and visual audacity earned him the moniker, the “King of Surf Guitar. A bevy of unique features on the Dick Dale signature model include a birdseye maple neck with a reverse headstock and proprietary neck carve, streamlined/simplified controls, Custom Fat ‘50s single coils, and a select alder body with a Chartreuse Sparkle metalflake finish.

The Custom Shop Fat ‘50s pickups deliver quintessential vintage Strat sparkle and snap with enhanced bass register kick, great midrange detail and exceptional articulation. The neck pickup has a percussive cut and throaty roundness, and the bridge pickup is reverse angled with the bass string poles closest to the bridge, ideal for Dale’s taut, aggressive sixteenth note onslaught. An extra two-way toggle enables “in-between” hollow quack, pairing the middle/neck positions and bypassing the three-way pickup selector. This Dick Dale Stratocaster weighs 7lbs 14oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
