This is a high quality vintage Japanese instrument that has clearly been well cared-for over the years. I’ve always found Fernandes FST series guitars to be fantastic players, and this example is no different. The Trembucker sounds great, of course, but the Fernandes dual rail single coil pickups also provide impressive power and tone. The electronics are fully functional and operate quietly. I deep-cleaned and polished the body, oiled the fretboard, and sprayed the electronics with electrical contact cleaner. I also polished the frets, leaving them smooth and shiny. The frets are large and show little, if any, visible wear (Images 10, 11, 12).

This guitar is in very good condition for it’s age. The only cosmetic issues specifically worth pointing out are a touched up area near the tip of the headstock (Image 23), and a small darkened scuff on the bottom edge of the body (Image 24). There is standard playwear on the pickguard, and there may be small imperfections elsewhere, but certainly nothing egregious. Please view all images, as they do a good job of representing the overall cosmetic condition.

Includes random gig bag (primarily for extra safety during shipping).
