SUMMARY: A rare find. This antique guitar is similar to a Gibson Barney Kessel but in beautiful rosewood all around. A beautiful example of fine Japanese craftmanship.

CONDITION: Good, all original (no modifications). Condition is exactly as I received it. I intended to fix it up but no time to do it right now. This is mostly a cleaning project. It’s missing the tone knob and although an original could not be found, I’m including a new set of vintage-style knobs that closely resemble the originals. Pickup sector switch tip is broken off and should be replaced with a new 3-way toggle. Both pickups and pots work but need cleaning. Neck is straight with low action. Frets are in pretty good condition and could use a polishing. Low action and no fret buzz or dead frets. Needs a lower strap button. Body has a few surface scratches as shown in the photos. Whole guitar needs a good cleaning and polishing. See photos for detail.
