This is an aluminum neck Kramer I believe to be from around 1980. I am not able to find much info on this guitar. I am not even sure the model numbers listed are correct. If anyone knows the actual model, I’d appreciate you sharing it with me so I can amend the listing.
I can’t really say that it’s all original since I have no real basis for comparison. l It looks original with the exception of the tuning keys. There is no appreciable wear on the frets. It’s impossible to make out the serial number on the neck back plate. And I don’t know where to begin to make sense of what they had in mind for the string nut, but here it is. If you need one to complete your collection, maybe we can do business. 🙂
We are a music store and we sold Kramer guitars & basses back in the late 70’s through the 80’s but this was not one we sold new. It just walked in through the door one day about 10 years or so ago and got put in the back room since we weren’t sure just which model it was, and we’re still not but that said, here it is. It has a nice straight neck and low action. The finish has some dings and scratches, but most of it is still there.
It did not come with a case but if you wanted it shipped with one, it fits nicely in an Epiphone flying V case that we have, it would be an additional purchase for you.
I pack these shipments myself and I do a good job. I pack them as if i was sending them to my brother. That said, the price you pay for shipping includes full coverage for the amount you will have paid for the guitar should something happen during shipping.
Feel free to ask questions. I’ll do my best to answer but I’ve found little, if anything, really, on this model and that’s unusual these days. I think it was one of the least produced models ever for Kramer.
Thanks for having a look.
Peace,
Don
