This is a 1983 “Holy Grail” inspired Kramer Baretta Replica. I had it custom made to order by Funk Guitars USA in 2023 who has made several guitars for me and who I know personally. All hand made, high quality woods / materials and so amazingly close to the real thing. A fantastic piece for any Edward Van Halen / Vintage Kramer enthusiast. A true “player”.
It features the non-angled banana headstock and nearly a perfect Holy Grail neck shape. Alder body, unfinished (oil-rubbed) maple neck with a thick rosewood fingerboard. I chose to do a chrome German-made Floyd Rose bridge with a brass block, Dimarzio pick-ups (Tone Zone zebra in the bridge / Injector single coil neck – to add tone versatility). They are direct mounted with no pick-up rings for a cleaner look. Gotoh tuners. It comes with and will be shipped in a hardshell TourTek case.
It’s totally mint / like new condition, barely played and kept in a smoke-free environment. I paid $1800 (without the case) to have it custom built. It’s an awesome guitar. Looks, feels and sounds amazing. And to me, a real benefit here is that it’s all hand made by a seasoned US guitar builder with deep knowledge of the Holy Grail. Hand picked woods, etc.. Like in a custom shop.
I’m selling it simply because I don’t play it enough. It should go to someone who can enjoy it more.
