This is a USA made Jackson Warrior from 2008 in gunmetal grey that was owned and modified by Wes Borland. The instrument has been heavily modified, and has been played extensively.
The control cavities have been sealed with epoxy and the output jack has been relocated. The black guitar strap still has the Nady wireless pack attached, and matches the hardware O rings which were screwed into the body for a stronger hold (and crazy ass look!) Also included is the hardshell road case (which is a beast)
The stock pickups are Seymour Duncan humbuckers as well as a Floyd rose tremolo.
Although there is no documentation provided, the serial number places it at 12/2008 production and the modifications were clearly done by Wes. Numerous photos online show him playing this exact guitar. It has numerous dings, dents and chips which only add to its appeal. This thing was PLAYED and played a LOT!
All of the hardware modifications ( O ring for strap, epoxied pots and markings) match the photos, which should attest to the authenticity. The guitar is in fair/good condition and has not been played, restrung or setup. It can be seen in person to confirm authenticity. The serial number U21724 was confirmed by Fender who show that 20 of these were made in this finish. This is a crazy cool piece of music history and someone out there is going to want it!
The guitar is located in El Segundo California, and can be viewed/inspected by appointment if desired. Shipping is available for a flat $125 to the US.
