Jackson X Series WRXMG Warrior 2011 – 2013 – Quicksilver with Black Bevels

$ 750.00

This is a Jackson WRXMG in a rare Quicksilver finish with black bevels. Basswood body, maple neck, and a rosewood fretboard with 12-16″ radius and pearloid sharkfin inlays. EMG 81 and 85 set. Based on the serial number, this model was made in 2011 most likely in India (Indonesia possibly). These don’t come up often.

The neck is a speed neck according to specs but is about 20-22mm, so medium profile, round C with a tiny bit of shoulder for comfort. Guitar is bone stock, besides an Allen wrench holder installed behind headstock.

Has a couple of minor dings on the back right corners, all pictured. Otherwise a very stunning example. Has a couple minor issues: EMGs are slightly noisy or microphonic it seems, but otherwise work well. Might just be the old electronics, they are solderless. If you have a gate it’ll clamp down on that just fine. The EMGs do sound great in this guitar. The 13th fret has fretting out on the high E and B strings (notes audible but fret out is there), otherwise no fretting out anywhere else on the board. Very slight sharpness of frets on the treble side but not enough to bother me while playing. The floyd rose special is actually pretty solid and stays in tune as long as you don’t go bonkers on it. Action is set to ~1.5mm on bass side and 1mm on treble side, neck is straight. Truss rod is smooth and perfectly functional. Freshly strung with D’Addario 10-52 in C# standard. Comes with trem cavity cover and truss rod cover. No trem arm.

This thing is a chug machine… plays great. Will pack very well before shipping, guitar is pointy!! If there is a difference in shipping I will refund it.

Sold as is. Thanks for looking!
