Jackson X Series Soloist SL3X DX 2021 – Frost Byte Crackle

The Soloist SL3X has all the signature Jackson features with a trio of high output pickups that allow for amazing versatility. Features include a lightweight (7 lbs, 4.6 oz) basswood body, neck through body construction, a 12″-16″ compound radius fretboard, and a Floyd Rose® Special bridge. The SL3X also has a 5-way pickup selector instead of the usual 3-way to control the extra pickup. Speaking of pickups, Jackson have installed their own humbucking pickups in all three positions. The bridge has been given a standard humbucker, while the middle and neck have been given a mini rails humbucking pickups for a hot but smooth sound in contrast to the bite of the bridge position. This SL3X is also finished in an incredibly intricate “Frost Byte Crackle” finish. A vibrant ocean metallic blue has been overlain with silver veins on the front, back, and sides including the neck.
