Jackson X Series Rhoads RRX24 – Matte Army Drab

$ 769.99

About this guitar:
This guitar came to my supplier directly from Jackson, it has never been sold retail, the protective covers are still on the pickups, tuners, truss rod cover and back plate.  All electronics were tested and are working as designed.  The guitar was set up and throughly checked for any issues.  None were found.  When we polished the guitar we did not find any finish blemishes.

I really like the finish on this guitar.  When I first saw the name of the finish I wasn’t sure I would like it, Matte Army Drab didn’t sound too good, but when I saw it as I said I really liked it.  The green satin with black bevels is really great looking.

Here is what Jackson says about the Rhoads RRX24:

The Jackson X Series models continue the metal legacy pioneered by the immortal Randy Rhoads. Regal and proud, the RRX24 offers fantastic tone, ultra-fast playability and unbelievable value for 21st century guitarists.
Features a basswood body, one-piece through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint, and a 12″-16″ compound radius bound dark laurel fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and reverse Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock.
Decked out for today’s modern metaller, the RRX24 delivers searing tone from a pair of Seymour Duncan® pickups, the Ahb-1N and the AHB-1B, that can be further shaped by two volume knobs, a master tone control and three-way blade switch. Also equipped with a recessed Floyd Rose® Special double-locking tremolo system for outstanding sustain and solid intonation.

FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.  Also some players like to set up a new guitar to their own personal preferences.

What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  Most refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.
