Jackson X Series KVXMG King V with Gig Bag – Satin Black

$ 649.99

About this guitar:
This guitar came directly from Jackson to my supplier, it has never been sold retail, the protective covers are still on the back plate, truss rod cover and backs of the tuners.  It was tested by factory authorized technicians and no issues were found, the electronics work as designed, the neck is straight with no buzz, and the set up is to factory specs. When we polished the guitar we did not find any blemishes, there were not even any rub marks that are so commone with satin finishes.

Here is what Jackson says about the KVXMG King V:

X Series guitars are loaded with purebred Jackson DNA—including fantastic tone and ultra-fast playability—along with unbelievable value for 21st century guitarists. The Jackson X Series King V KVXMG’s poplar body is paired with a through-body maple neck featuring a scarf joint and graphite reinforcement for rock-solid stability to guard against climate and humidity changes. Featuring 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays, its 12-16 inch compound radius bound laurel fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out.

Active EMG 85 (neck) and 81 (bridge) humbucking pickups deliver well-balanced tone with tight bass, glassy mids and crunching highs that can be tweaked and refined with a three-way toggle switch and single volume and tone controls. The Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge system provides superior string stability and dynamic tremolo action.

This royal axe is finished off with a Jackson pointed 6-in-line black headstock and black hardware.

FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.  Also some players like to set up a new guitar to their own personal preferences.

What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  Most refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.
