Jackson DR3 Japan 1995 Reverse Headstock EX Rare Red Pearl Metallic

$ 1599.99

Vintage JAPAN mij 1990’s JACKSON Professional DR3 Dinky Reverse

w/ EMG Pickups Molded Hardshell Case

Up for sale is this stunning and very rare 1995 Jackson (pre-Fender era) DR3 (reverse sharkfin inlays) Dinky Professional Reverse electric guitar in gorgeous Red Pearl Metallic finish from the legendary (and now sadly closed) Chushin Gakki guitar factory. Awesome, CLEAN guitar with the legendary thin, fast neck these EARLY Jacksons are known for. These earliest Japanese Jacksons are top-of-the-line, often compared in quality to their USA counterparts. So much so that they interfered with USA Jackson sales, causing Jackson management to cheapen the entire Japanese production line shortly thereafter.

You don’t see these for sale anymore. Grab it before it’s gone. This is one of the good ones. You can tell by “Professional” lettering on the headstock and raised cast neck plate (as opposed to the plain blank steel plates stamped with the serial number.) Basswood body, 25.5″ scale length. Gorgeous dark rosewood fretboard on this one with only a faint hint of fret wear. High quality Jackson-branded Takeuchi JT-580 low profile Floyd Rose tremolo…the best one. All hardware is amazingly corrosion-free. Headstock tip is perfect. Tremolo arm is included.

This is one of those guitars that you just don’t want to put down, and it sounds AMAZING. The EMG’s sound killer. Volume, tone knobs and 3-way selector switch. Includes the Jackson molded case as shown which is also in very good condition. Look very hard for any finish imperfections. Recent Ernie Ball 9-42’s installed.

From a smoke-free / pet-free home. Don’t miss out. This is Jackson history here.
