Beautiful Grover Jackson Dinky model. The Grover Jackson series has been described as one of the most under-appreciated guitar ranges on the market, offering exceptional quality at a competitive price.

This guitar is part of the “Professional” series, which combines a thin upper fender (like a Stealth) with the standard Dinky lower fender for a more comfortable playing experience. Alder body (with matching headstock), slim maple neck and thick rosewood fingerboard with 24 “sharktooth” frets (648 mm scale length), high-gloss metallic black finish.

Jackson SS pickups with a Dimarzio splitable humbucker upgrade (100€…) that honestly puts the other two reputable pickups to shame. Licensed Floyd Rose Jackson bridge (killer for dive-bombs!) with 5-way selector and volume and tone knobs (tone knob has push-pull for humbucker split). It weighs 3.4 kg, and I used to play it when I was twelve without it weighing me in the least…

Good overall condition, just a little fart on the table and a few scratches (see photos), benefited from a tune-up and service before being put up for sale. The neck is straight and the frets are spotless.

USAGE

Very pleasant neck, precise, fast, super-easy access to treble.

Like all Stratoid-shaped Jacksons, the grip is impeccable whether sitting or standing, and the balance is excellent.

Ideal for shredding/tapping and shaking the walls with big, jerky palm-mutes.

Very light and easy to handle! You can play for two hours on stage every night and never tire your shoulders.

SOUND

Guitar made for metal (see video in description).

The Clean sound is superbly colored while remaining crystalline, and in distortion, it’s a super warm sound with great harmonics.

OVERALL OPINION

Excellent value for money and performance, with the added Jackson look.
