We are selling a used Ibanez S540 LTD. The serial number F151349 indicates it was made in their Fuji-Gen plant in 1991 even though it does not say made in Japan near the serial number like similar guitars. The neck plate on the back says:

This guitar needs new strings and a very good cleaning. The frets are in very good condition with minimal signs of wear. The original tremelo bar is included
There is one scrape on the top bout near the bottom control knob that shows the mahogany wood one inch long by 1/4 inch wide. There is rust and pitting on the metal knobs, tuners pickups, tremelo and screws. I was concerned so I opened up the rear covers to find the inside wiring is in mint condiditon and very high quality. WE will ship this guitar in the original fitted Ibanez case BUT the case is in fair to poor condition. It will protect the guitar well even though the bottom rear hinge is broken and the case. It was a very good quality case with anvil latches on the front that all work properly. The rear feet are broken and there are small holes in the case where the feet broke off. The guitar is secure inside BUT the case bluges where the hinge is broken when closed.
