Ibanez RX650-TG 1994 – Transparent Green

$ 327.06

This is a bit of a weird one. We have a mid 90s, South Korean made Ibanez. It was part of their entry level series with a nicer trim. This features an alder body, nice flame maple top, finished in alligator like transparent green. The neck is a one piece maple with a bubinga skunk stripe. Rosewood fretboard with medium jumbo frets.

The previous owner has taken it upon himself to scallop this fretboard. He didn’t do too bad of a job of it either! surprisingly comfortable to play and very easy to shred on. Unleash your inner Yngwie! It doesn’t stop there though. The scratchplate has been replaced with a non standard one and has had some additional holes drilled. The original holes are still visible. PleaThe original HSH pickup combo has been replaced with a pair of Wilkinson humbuckers. The two point tremolo is missing its arm and two of the saddles are chrome instead of gold.

The two point trem’s knife edges still have a lot of life in them. The trem arm is a screw in type and replacements are easy to acquire. The back cover is missing.

It has its fair share of scratches and dings but nothing that affects playability. The frets have been recently dressed and polished.

Please feel free to make me an offer as I’m not too sure how to price something this heavily modified.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any additional questions.
