Today for sale I have a beautiful and rare Ibanez RG2680. It was made in 2001 by Fugigen Gakki(Japan) factory. As you can see it is a “double serial”, that means it upper scale of Prestige series with J.Custom serial on it. As i was owner of few J.Customs in past, i can say it without any doubt, this guitar is on quality range of J.Customs. Diffrent level of sound, finish of every detail and mainly comfort of neck shape.
These models were produced only 2 years and only for japanese market. Finished in beautiful, rich Amber finish and equiped with original DiMarzio’s. This instrument sounds great – has lots of harmonic and attack. Perfect one for progressive rock music.
Technically, guitar is in perfect condition. Neck is straight, frets are in great shape. visually You can see that she was used a lot – she was because it’s one of the best guitars i ever had. You can see that hardware finish in some places worn out, which is normal after using a guitar for a few years.
Set up with a Ernie ball Strings (09-46) and new trem springs (Gotoh SP).
