Ibanez 2351DX Goldtop ‘Les Paul’ 1977 – ‘Goldy’ (the rare kind)

$ 1150.00

In 1977 Ibanez adjusted the headstock to this ‘Tulip’ design to avoid further lawsuit with the Norlin (Gibson) company “Lawsuit Les Paul” from just a year prior. This one features all deluxe hardware with the Gibraltar I (fancy) tailpiece and (harmonica) bridge, Star-Back tuners and rare open-face Super 70 bridge pickup. This was the last year Ibanez made this model at the height of their ‘golden era’.

It has seen plenty of action on many stages all over the American Southwest and plays / sounds better than my Gibson goldtop Tribute.

It is all original and comes with it’s original hardshell case (case handle is ‘wonky’ and needs repair!).

This guitar can only increase in value and has been well loved over it’s lifetime. I am offering it as a vintage piece in players condition.

It will be well packaged and shipped with care via UPS.

Any further questions are hopefully answered here: if not; please ask me.

Here’s a short video of me playing it (poorly) to show how it functions and sounds. Along with hearing it, you can see more details / front side guitar in the video.
