This “Super Strat” weighs 8 lbs, 5 oz, has beautiful natural sustain, and with it’s Ibanez Super 58 pickups gives it a sweet, vintage jazz tone with clarity, and moderate output. These pickups are known for their warm, balanced sound with excellent note definition, considered classic, warm, and versatile, they can handle both jazz and rock without feedback.

This guitar has blemishes in it’s finish, but plays very well and sounds amazing.

The hardware is worn but functions normally.

The truss-rod has free play in both directions and functions normally.

The frets are highly polished and have lots of life left in them.

The electronics sound clean and clear, no scratchy pots, noisy toggle switch or input jack.

It is a 41 year old vintage “players guitar” that will continue to increase in value as time goes by.

The RS1000 is a Roadstar II series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1983 and was made in Japan.

It features an arched birdseye maple top with ivory binding on a basswood or alder body bolted to a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 covered humbucking pickups mounted in ivory pickup rings, a Hard Rocker Pro single locking tremolo bridge, Sure Grip II control knobs and Smooth Tuner II tuning machines.
