Get classic ’50s- and ’60s-inspired Gretsch sound and style with the G5422TG Electromatic Classic hollowbody double-cut with Bigsby electric guitar. It features a laminated maple body with a vintage-inspired design and refined arches, plus trestle block bracing to help reduce unwanted feedback. By increasing rigidity and contact between the top and back of the body, this trestle block design also results in the sound having a faster attack with more focus, snap and sustain. Coupled with FT-5E Filter’Tron pickups, this hollow build’s voice explodes with huge full-bodied punch, classic chime and enhanced presence. The G5422TG Electromatic Classic also features a maple neck with a classic “C”-shaped profile and laurel fingerboard that offers comfortable playability. Additional appointments include oversized bound F-holes, multi-ply body binding, a smaller late-’50s G6120 bound headstock, vintage-style open-back tuning machines, GraphTech NuBone nut, pearloid hump block inlays, secured Adjusto-Matic bridge and a Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece.
