Here for sale we have a Gretsch G5220 Electromatic in Bristol Fog finish. Made in China in 2021, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Laurel fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with a Chrome Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and Gretsch V-Stoptail tailpiece. A pair of Dual Black Top Broad’Tron humbuckers, wired to a 3-way selector, master volume, master tone and individual pickup volume controls.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with theThin ‘U’ profile filling the hand without being overly thick, this offers a balanced and smooth playing experience. The medium jumbo frets and 12″ radius provide a robust and smooth playing experience all across the fingerboard, and enhance string bending and vibrato techniques. The single cutaway body design allows the player to access the higher register with ease, allowing for fast lead lines without any obstruction.
The pair of Black Top Broad’Tron humbuckers in this guitar offer a full, thick tone, plenty of warmth and roundness is present in the neck position. The middle position sounds punchy, with driving mids along with crisp and clear highs making for a nice blend of the two pickups. The bridge position provides open sustain and broad harmonic clarity, making chords sound crystalline and clear. The Classic Les Paul wiring gives plenty of versatility without any complicated switching, making this instrument great for tonal sculpting to the players desired taste.
