This is a well loved players Grade Gretsch 6118 Double Anniversary in an unusual double ivory finish with silver plastics. Most you see are in a Smoke Green finish or rare Ivory / Tan combo.
Condition: “Fair”. This guitar is 100% a players grade example. It has had some extensive work done by our technician as it was in a sorry state when it arrived in the shop. It has had a full refret and leveling as the board was uneven when it arrived. This one has been suffering from binding rot like many of these old Gretsch guitars do. It has had some repairs to stabilize these areas. The action is on the higher side especially when you get in the upper register. The bass side of the bridge is decked. The neck has some separation but is stable and much of the body has witness lines / checking. Action at 12th fret measures 8/64″ on the treble size and 8/64″ on the bass
