1978 Gretsch 7624 TK-300 Autumn Red Stain – Made in USA
Up for sale, here’s a rare 1978 (one of the first, USA made) Gretsch 7624 Model TK-300 electric guitar in a beautiful Autumn Red Stain.
Including its black tolex hard case, the guitar is All Original with the exception of the pickups, which are a newer set of Seymour Duncan Seth Lovers (SH-55), however the instrument still retains its original wiring harness with pots (dated ’77) and 3-way toggle pickup switch. Check photos from the internals where you can also see all the internet stamps and sticker with its Serial # 3-8063 and “Made in the U.S.A.”.
The guitar weights at 8.4 Lbs.
Maple Body and Neck (bolt on), with Rosewood fingerboard and 1-ply pickguard. The guitar plays really well, with truss rod working perfect. Frets shows moderate wear and have still plenty of life ahead.
The guitar is in Very Good contain for its age and beside having multiple little marks, scratches, edge wear and minimal buckle rush, there are no big blemishes or dings to mention. the guitar has been gently played and preserved pretty well.
The original hard case still have all latches working and it’s also in Very Good condition for its age and perfectly functional.
