Excellent playing and structural condition, showing a lot of playing wear. If you are looking for a collector guitar this is not it. It you are looking for a decently priced Gretsch that plays well, is all original, but has some cosmetic issues, read on. The back of the peghead was refinished so the serial number is gone. However, the guitar specs check out to it being a 1970. It is a hollowbody, 17 inches wide, simulated F holes, double cut, with a single mute, Tuneamatic bridge, two Filtertron pickups with the plates between the poles, gold plated hardware, Bigsby tailpiece, and a snap on back pad (which is in great shape). Both pick ups work, the various knobs and switches all work, and the frets are in good shape. Downside is this guitar has the typical binding deterioration. Please check out the pictures. Comes with the original silver/grey Gretsch hardshell case, in excellent condition.
