1957 Gretsch 6145 Airliner Lap Steel Guitar

Guitar was found at an antique store. Client brought to us to help sell online. Cool Find !!!
Guitar has been tested and plays well. Electronics working fine. Everything looks to be original. Minimal scratches. Includes a couple slides and finger picks found in case.
Case in good condition. Cleaned up inside. All Hinges and Latches working fine.

Dating Gretsch and other Valco-made amps:
Beginning in 1941, serial numbers were on a small oblong metal plate (brass or aluminum) tacked on with two small brass nails. All Valco-made instruments and amps were numbered this way until 1964. Note all numbers are approximate matches.
In 1964, Valco replaced the metal number plate with a rectangular foil sticker with numeric prefixes. A “1” prefix means the amp was built between 1964 and ’68. A “2” prefix means the amp was built in 1968.
