1957 Gretsch 6115 Rambler

$ 2995.00

A super cool ’50s 3/4-scale hollowbody! These little powerhouses are fantastic instruments and have gained a cult following over the years. Features an Ivory-finished hollow body with Florentine cutaway, 23″ scale length, red truss rod cover with red-inlay G-cutout tailpiece and fitted with a single DeArmond pickup. This example is in very good condition showing light finish checking and minor cosmetic wear. Plays well with a chunkier, rounded profile neck and the shorter scale length makes playing stretched out chord voicings a breeze. The DeArmond pickup delivers an excellent tone, capturing the woody resonance of the hollowbody construction and outputting a lively single-coil clarity with a punchy grit when overdriven. A killer vintage Gretsch with a big tone in a compact package! Includes hardshell case.
