Here’s a great way to get in to the vintage 60’s Gibson market without spending much money! Just add a loaded pickguard, bridge, tailpiece, tuners and strings and you’re ready to rock!
This is from either 1963 or 67 and is in decent condition. There are some scratches dents and dings but no cracks or old repairs. Some fret wear on the first 4 or 5 frets but should still be playable for a long time with some fret left if a levelling is desired.
This model came with a loaded pickguard. The hole in the body is where the output jack was located and is supposed to be there. The pickup route seems to be enlarged slightly.
Convert this easily into a two pickup with body volume/controls. You could even glue in a center block through the pickup route.
Truss rod works as it should and the neck is straight(may have been reset at some point)
Thanks for looking and happy building!
