Takahiro Matsumoto Les Paul Tak Burst” by Takahiro Matsumoto, a guitarist of B’z, which became the fifth guitarist in the world and the first Japanese signature model, is now in stock!
This is the “Tak Burst” model made in 2003, which was released as the second model following the signature model “Canary Yellow”, with its outstanding quilted maple!
The body is made of 1-piece mahogany back and AAA grade 2-piece quilted maple top with impressive grain.
Mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard are used. The neck shape is “Slim Taper,” which is slim and easy to play.
The body has “Tak Matsumoto” printed on the top, and the neck and body are wrapped with black binding and Avalon inlays, all of which are Tak Les Paul specs!
Two TAK’s original “Burst Bucker Tak Matsumoto Special” PUs are installed.
The Burst Bucker 2 & 3 are based on Alnico 5 magnets with potting treatment to prevent howling.
Both the front and rear pickups have a powerful sound, and are characterized by the forward sound that is typical of Mr. Matsumoto.
The condition of the pickups shows some scratches, dents, and buckle marks as well as some tarnishing on the parts.
The case also has Matsumoto’s signature printed on it.
