This is a 1965 Melody Maker Double with 2 pickups.
It is a cherry color, but the entire body has been refinished, with no visible wood grain.
The refinish itself is very old, with many cracks, color burns, and peeling from age.
Transmission system such as pickups are still original, and the pot date is 1965, which is consistent with the serial number.
Only the rear volume knob has been replaced with a recent part, and there is a slight wobble, but it does not affect the performance.
The vibrato unit has been removed and only the screws remain.
The frets are low, but as this is an original instrument, we are selling it in its current condition.
The body is very light, weighing approximately 2.6 kg, and you can enjoy the light sound of a Telecaster.
The specifications make it affordable, so it is recommended for those who are looking for a reasonably priced vintage instrument.
It comes with a chipboard case, but it is in a very deteriorated condition due to age.
Unlike today’s cases, it is very thin and fragile and not suitable for transportation.
Please consider this as a collectible item.
It has overall refinish, age-related deterioration, scratches, etc.
The pegs on the second string are hard.
