2010 Gibson SG Standard – Heritage Cherry

As one of the pioneering electric guitars in rock music the SG has killer sustain and blazing rock sound. It features the legendary Gibson SG build quality in a lightweight body and dual 490 Alnico II pickups.  The SG Standard is built with a mahogany body and neck in a double cutaway design. The mahogany neck features a long tenon 19th fret neck joint, and runs right into the body for great sustain with every note. It also has a 24.75″ scale length and rounded profile for a great feel. Medium jumbo frets are clean and don’t show any wear over the clean rosewood fretboard, the guitar is setup on 10s.

The 2011 Gibson SG Standard Heritage Cherry weighs only 6lbs and 8oz, super lightweight, with stock hardware and electronics. This guitar comes in an older Gibson soft case/gig bag.

Condition is 7/10 for wear, light impressions, small dings. Very nice overall, stock, lightweight, player grade instrument, presents very well, sounds great.

Good condition, shows play wear, light scratches and swirls in the nitro finish,, dings all over the edges and lower bout. There’s a ding on the bass side of the headstock veneer, see the pictures, ask for more. There is wear and finish damage on the lower edge/bout, see the pictures, and the texture is not smooth there. There are various nicks and scratches on the back, but no buckle worming. The guitar doesn’t feel heavily played, but it was not carefully stored, and it shows in places. The price reflects the condition. No paperwork is provided. There are a few light marks on the back of the neck, there’s light play wear, pick marks in the guard etc, lacquer sink, some nitro damage from stickers. Frets and fretboard are in great shape, show no or minimal wear. Neck binding is clean. Overall a beautiful player grade instrument. See the pictures, ask for more. As always there are more and better pictures than Reverb will host at my site deegearlocker dotcom.
